- Jonathan Beard sent a letter to OHG stating he will allow OHG members to check out the Breakdown Cave key, but anyone wanting to go in any of the other previously OHG managed caves must go on a SPG sponsored trip. It turns out that Jonathan was the private manager of these caves not OHG.

|
October 2006
- OHG returned $500 to MVOR that was given to us for cave gating. Because of some issues with the Missouri Department of Conservation on gating, it was felt that the money should go back to the MVOR until these issues are resolved.
- CCC reports that Carroll Cave is now 13.34 miles long and still growing.
- Charley Rey bids for the Spring 2007 MVOR in OHG's name. A committee was formed to work out the details. We will need lots of volunteers to make this happen.
